I actually thought the game was very good. I just think they expected way to many sales. 1.5 million in 7 weeks or so is very good and it will probably hit 2million or so over the next year. I don't personally think Lara needs a change.
Many will point out that Uncharted stole its thunder but Uncharted actually sold slower and although now over two million its sales might well get surpassed by underworld. I think there very different games though, ones more shooting the other exploring...
Lets just hope it doesn't take them 5 years like killzone2 has or we will have to wait till the Ps4.
Well thats probaly right but if it took them nearly 5 years to make Killzone2 it will be a long wait before they release another game... might even be next gen.

Personally i want all consoles to sell well and same goes for software i couldn't really care who wins as long as the great games keep coming.

I have a ps3 so that comment isnt really true. I liked Uncharted a lot but prefered Tombraider(which i also got on PS3). Uncharted's constant gunplay got a bit boring to me and i prefered the exploring of Underworld.
If you read and actually understand reports rather than skimming the headlines on here you will realise that a lot of them didn't make more money off the Ps3. There was a ten million difference between xbox and Ps3 on Ubisofts alone in xbox'x favour.
When the Ps3 outsells the xbox as it did i belive in 07 then i admit it outsells it, a facts a fact but when its the other way round people don't seem to belive that black is white. Sony fans are quite funny really.
Microsoft said they have 28million its not hard to find and Sony 20million. In the UsA they were outselling them by 300,000 a week over Christmas and nearly 100,000 in Europe. In fact the only place they didn't outsell it was Japan.

So they increased there lead by 3 million around 70percent from the start of the year 5million lead to 8million and thats what you call a little more. Install base? when gears1 and Halo3 came out the xbox had a smaller install base than the PS3 does now but still sold loads. Face it the xbox won 08 and increased there lead.
Well they sold more consoles and more games which is what its about so yeah they beat Sony in 08.
Its crazy. And it was actually a good game which makes it even worse.
Resistance also had a big team and sold around the same in the same time frame. If Sony were not covering the development costs the same thing would have happened there. Not a good thing.
Er because its actually a good game. 1.5million sales end Nov to End of Dec is about the same as LBP's and Resistance... so those developers be sacked too then?
Considering they beat Sonys line up in 08 with one game, Gears2 then yeah i reckon Alan Wake, HaloOSDT, Forza3, Mass Effect2 will demolish the Sony line up.

I actually thought it was a better game than Uncharted. The graphics may not have been as good but the level design and puzzles were great. Its a shame when a game sells 1.5 million copies and theres still redundancies. And before the fanboys say well serves them right just think about other games that have sold around this number in the same time frame... LBP , Resistance. Would you like those developers to loose there jobs?

Its a shame when a game sells 1.5million copies and still doesn't cover costs. Even worse when it was the best Tombraider since the first one and a great game in its own right. I actually prefered it to uncharted and thought it was the better game.
Im sure the layout is fine and if thats the only fault they have then its going to be very good.
I agree its the best looking console game yet. I did find although Cyrsis looked great it was dull and boring. Killzone looks a lot more fun.
I will say though that Cyrsis as a whole i found boring and dull and Killzone will be the better game.
How about the numbers per city... im sure Liverpool bought more Ps3 than Paris. Maybe Ps3 fans should look it up.
